Beginner Guides

We teach you everything in plain English. No fluff. No junk bullshit. Just what actually works in 2026.

Recommended Wallet (Use This First)

Download Cake Wallet (free on iOS/Android) — it works great for both BTC and XMR, is non-custodial (you control your keys), and even lets you buy crypto inside the app.

Option A: Buy BTC (Easiest for Beginners)
  1. Sign up on a trusted exchange: Coinbase, Kraken, or Binance (most countries allow these).
  2. Complete basic verification (KYC) — usually just email + ID photo.
  3. Deposit money with bank transfer or card.
  4. Buy BTC (search for BTC and enter the amount you want).
  5. Withdraw to your Cake Wallet: Open Cake Wallet → Receive → BTC → copy the address.
  6. Paste the address on the exchange and send. Start with a small test amount ($10–20)!
Option B: Buy XMR (Monero) – Privacy Coin
  1. Buy USDT or BTC on any exchange (Coinbase/Kraken/Binance).
  2. Use a no-KYC swap service like AceChange.io or the built-in swap in Cake Wallet.
  3. Select “Send USDT/BTC → Receive XMR”, paste your Cake Wallet XMR address.
  4. Send the money and wait 5–30 minutes. You now have private XMR.

Warning: XMR has been delisted from some big exchanges, so swapping is the easiest way in 2026.

How to Send BTC or XMR (To Us or Anyone)
  1. Open Cake Wallet.
  2. Choose BTC or XMR.
  3. Tap “Send”.
  4. Paste the exact receiving address (double-check it!).
  5. Enter the amount and confirm.
  6. Always send a tiny test transaction first ($5) to make sure the address is correct.
Important: Never leave large amounts on exchanges. Always withdraw to your own wallet. Crypto payments cannot be reversed — double-check addresses!

Here’s exactly what privacy-conscious people do in 2026:

  • Use a VPN + Tor every time you interact with crypto (hide your IP address).
  • Never reuse addresses — Cake Wallet creates a new one automatically.
  • Separate your wallets: One for buying (possibly KYC), one for private spending.
  • Swap through Monero to break the trail: Send BTC → XMR (on AceChange.io) → back to new BTC wallet if needed. This is the #1 way to anonymize funds.
  • Use non-custodial wallets only (Cake Wallet, Feather Wallet, Electrum, Samourai).
  • Avoid linking your real identity — don’t post wallet addresses publicly, don’t use the same email everywhere.
  • Hardware wallet for big amounts (Ledger or Trezor) after you’ve anonymized the coins.

Pro tip: Buy small amounts first while learning. Privacy is a habit, not a one-time thing.

In 2026, every transaction on normal blockchains (like Bitcoin or Ethereum) is public forever. Anyone with basic tools can see your entire financial history.

Real reasons privacy is important:
  • Protection from hackers & scammers — if your wallet is linked to your identity, they can target you.
  • Financial freedom — governments, banks, and companies shouldn’t know every dollar you spend or earn.
  • Avoid surveillance — exchanges and analytics companies sell your data. Privacy coins like Monero hide everything by default (amount, sender, receiver).
  • Future-proofing — as regulations get stricter, having private money gives you options.
  • Peace of mind — you can pay for courses, invest, or send money without worrying who’s watching.
Wealth Forge philosophy: We don’t sell junk bullshit. We believe you should control your own money and data. That’s why we accept BTC & XMR and teach privacy from day one.
